New Logo for The Coaching Continuum

Friday, May 28th, 2010

At the end of last year, I met Angela Woodrow. She is the professional coach behind The Coaching Continuum, a place committed to helping you achieve your goals.  In January, she  invited me to speak at a San Antonio Professional Coaches meeting about 2010 web design trends. Soon after that we started talking about redesigning her logo and turning her website into a blogsite. I’m excited to share with you her brand new logo. Check out  the before and after logos below and stayed tuned, because we are still working on her new site and it will be going live soon!

Logo Tune-up

Friday, March 12th, 2010

Every so often I will get hired by a client to tune-up their existing logo. A logo tune-up consists either of updating an old logo design, or fine tuning an existing one. There are different things I can do to update the look of a logo without it losing its personality. It is important for it to still be recognized and related to the original design, especially if the company has already established a strong brand.  Each project is different and must be assessed differently. Some of the the things I might decide to do, is change the font choice to something more contemporary, modernize or clean up their symbol or icon, and in some cases add accent colors to enhance the existing dominant one.

Below are two examples of a BlackStone Studio Logo Tune-up.
