Laila Facusse is not only a good friend of mine, but she is also a great personal trainer and a Zumba® Fitness instructor. She recently asked BlackStone Studio do a photo session with her because her passion is to help people achieve their fitness goals, and in order to do that she transformed her own body to inspire others and show them everything is possible! Last weekend, BlackStone Studio had the pleasure of taking some family photos of the Ramos Family. Our photo session was done while they enjoyed a day at a Pumpkin Patch. John and Dana Ramos have the most adorable kids! It was so fun to take pictures of these cute and loving siblings with each other, and with their mom and dad. BlackStone Studio has been working and collaborating with Rhapsody Realty Services for over a year now. I’ve participated in the design of many ad campaigns for their clients, one of which is Armadillo Homes.

In the past year, I’ve posted several ads that I’ve designed for them. I’m very proud to share that two of the projects I worked on, with Rhapsody Realty Services, for Armadillo Homes have won 2011 Summit Awards. The awards were for Best Black and White Ad and for Best Home Builder Promotion. Above is a picture of the eagle award (photography by BlackStone Studio) and below the award winning ads. In addition, I also collaborated in the Armadillo Homes newest ad design that showcases all five of the 2011 Summit Awards they won this year (far right).

Kate-Frost Feild, owner of  Kate’s Frosting,  has been a great client to BlackStone Studio. This year, she opened up a new location on Broadway and a cafe called Kate’s Next Door on N. Main. We are currently updating her website to give you more information on all three stores, but this was a good opportunity to take new photography as well. We had a fun filled morning taking pictures of the stores, cupcakes, food and last minute gifts. A couple weeks ago, Zinda Vareed hired BlackStone Studio to take some family photos of her kids Rebeca and Roshan. We drove up to a great location in Boerne that had the most amazing trees, creeks and landscape! The light was amazing there and we were lucky to have good weather so it wasn’t too hot. I had such a fun time shooting pictures of Rebeca and Roshan. Rebeca is not only a beautiful girl, but she is a natural in front of the camera, so she made my job so easy! Like most boys, Roshan was not eager to have his picture taken, but soon enough we got him to give us some smiles! Both of them enjoy reading books and Rebeca likes taking pictures so we included those hobbies in their shots. At the end of the shoot, we even took a quick impromptu family photo. These two amazing kids were very photogenic and the entire Vareed family was a pleasure to work with! Take a look at some of their pictures in the slideshow below:

BlackStone Studio took photos at Studio Vida’s 2nd Annual Zumbathon, that was held at the Central Catholic High School basketball gym this past January. The purpose of this  fun event is not only fitness, but also to benefit SAMMinistries.

It is always fun to go to Studio Vida’s Zumbathon and take pictures of everyone dancing/exercising! It’s like going to a party! Below are some of  my favorite pictures from the event.

I’m happy to share some of my favorite pictures from recent photo sessions BlackStone Studio did for our good friend Alison. It was so fun to go take pictures of these cute lab puppies in three different stages of growth. Some show them at only a few days old. Others are around the time they were three weeks old, and finally after about four weeks when they were ready to get picked up by their new owners. I had over sixty pictures of pure puppy cuteness, but I chose my favorites below.
